oneED Staff Wellness Program

Gold Coast Health Emergency Department is on a quest to enhance staff wellness in 2017. An explanatory video on the oneED program.

In August 2016, Gold Coast Health Emergency Department launched the oneED Wellness Program. One basis for the program is mindfulness practice. It is designed to be inclusive of ALL staff, clinical and non-clinical, and invites practices which can be embedded into the midst of a busy, chaotic workplace, to help regulate emotions, focus attention, and act deliberately.

Stanford Medicine X

Medicine X is a conference catalyst for new ideas about the future of medicine and health care. Medicine X is a project of the Stanford AIM Lab in Palo Alto, CA. On 22 April 2017, Shahina participated in a Panel Discussion on Physician Wellness, hosted by the Academic Life in Emergency Medicine (ALiEM) team.
