Shahina was an invited guest for the final 2-hour session of The Feedback Course - Transforming Self, Others and Culture. A co-author of The Value of Being Valued, Shahina was invited to input and share experience in the sphere of giving and receiving feedback. Participants included senior clinicians from North America, India and Australia.

Adjudicator – Emergency Medical Competition

Shahina was an invited adjudicator for the Queensland Medical Students' Council Emergency Medical Competition (EMC) at which students from the four Queensland medical schools compete for best performance in an emergency medicine scenario, culminating in a final round involving a critically unwell patient (manekin).
